AR for events are filters either used at or to promote a specific event. You’ll see here some countdown filters and design heavy experiences that encourage visitors to share their experience!

Wild Lights

Raquette River Roll

This filter was created for the Wild Center’s Raquette River Roll grand opening. The exhibit features wooden balls and tracks along a hiking path in the woods, so we modified their existing branding and added some interactivity. The user can lift their eyebrows to start a ball rolling down the track and it disappears into the wooden tube below, mimicking their advertising and the experience on the trail. This experience also featured a countdown I scripted to match the experience opening day!

This experience was for the Wild Center, which hosts an annual winter lights experience. I created two filters across Snapchat and Instagram and exported four variations with Wild Lights and Tupper Lights branding. Users can tap the screen to change the color of the lights, and long press to remove the background so the lens can be used both before and after the event.

RMSC Eclipse Countdown

The Rochester Museum and Science Center was hosting events surrounding the 2024 Total Eclipse that spanned a large part of the United States. I helped them get the word out there with a countdown filter to totality and the 3D modeled a pair of eclipse glasses that looked like the ones the museum was selling leading up to the event. The user could tap the screen and remove the glasses and/or the countdown.
